Eating in Season -
George Biron
George Biron lives at Sunnybrae,
Birregurra with Diane Garrett where for ten years they ran their
legendary cooking school and "restaurant in the middle of a paddock".
From this garden setting he continues to design restaurants, kitchens
and works with producers and government to enhance the culinary
collateral of the area. He writes for magazines and newspapers and won
the Food Media Club's Award for best food article on an Australian
product in 2004.
He still foolishly believes that the way we approach the kitchen, table
and garden can help to settle the waters in these uncertain times.
